EFFECTIVE & SIMPLE WAYS TO SPEEDUP WINDOWS 7 STARTUP TIME.

As we all know Windows 7 startup times always seem to be an issue to most users. Personally I have found that the best way to speedup Windows 7 boot time is to keep your startup processes to a minimum. In case you were keeping track, Microsoft has set a 15 second boot as the performance target for Windows 7 startup. Here in this article I am going to show you how to improve Windows 7 boot up time without costing you to spend a dollar from your own pocket. This Tweak is extremely cool, it takes only a few seconds and will add some great performance to your startup times in Windows 7.

CHANGE PROCESSOR SETTINGS & SERVICES.

To begin with, just go to Click Start on your Computer and on the Search programs and files tab, type msconfig and hit enter. The System Configuration window will pop up. Navigate to Boot tab and click on Advanced options button. Check the box named Number of processors and then selects the number of processors (2) from the drop down box and click OK. After that on the boot options "timeout" change the default number from 30 seconds to 3 seconds and click OK. Now click onto Services tab and you will see a list of services running on your Computer. Uncheck to disable any services you think you don't need to run on startup. You can disable Windows Error Reporting services, Windows Media Player Network (if you are not using WMP on your Computer), Secondary Logon, Skype updater, Microsoft Office diagnostic services, etc. Click OK and you are done. Reboot your Computer and you will notice your Computer starts up much faster.

DOWNLOAD & INSTALL CCLEANER.

CCleaner is the number-one tool for cleaning your Windows PC. It protects your privacy online and makes your Computer faster and more secure. It is an easy friendly software to use, and is a very small and fast to download software. You can download for free from the link here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Once you have installed CCleaner on your Computer, just launch it and click on Tools, and then click on Startup. You will notice a list of startup items on the pop up window. Just disable all those items you think you don't need to startup when Windows boot up by clicking on the items and then click Disable. I would suggest you disable programs such as Adobe ARM, ITuneshelper, QuickTime Task, SunJavaUpdateSched, Skype etc that you don't need to run each time when Windows startup. Once you have done that, close CCleaner and reboot your Computer. You will notice the time Windows 7 takes to boot up now will be much faster.

Hope you enjoy my articles here.
